Britannia Lanes became our client in the spring and needless to say we were rather proud to have another well known regional brand on our books.
Britannia Lanes is a thirty seven year old family-owned removals, storage and shipping company with operating depots in Cornwall (Truro), Devon (Exeter), Somerset (Bridgwater) and Bristol (Brislington).

We created a campaign to elevate Britannia Lanes’ profile throughout the South West regional papers. The campaign involves Naomi Cleaver, interior design guru and Channel 4 homes star (www.naomicleaver.com).
The concept was straightforward enough – Britannia Lanes helps people move home and what do most people want to do before or after moving? Improve their home of course.
We came up with the cunning plan of offering Britannia Lanes’ customers the chance to win an interior design day with Naomi Cleaver. Simples (to coin another brands phrase!)
We’ve worked hard to get the pitch right and to date, we’ve secured some great coverage of behalf of our clients in a variety of key media titles, including Exeter Living, Western Morning News, Express and Echo, Bridgwater Mercury, Clifton Life, View from Honiton and the Midweek Herald – not to mention listings on national glossies Real Homes magazine and Homebuilding & Renovating.
We’ve lots more coverage in the pipeline, including the Life titles in Somerset, Cornwall & Devon and we’re really excited about how the Britannia Lanes campaign is unfolding.
Granted, it’s a far more subtle form of marketing / promotion but much more powerful than blatant advertising and we’re getting some great messages out there for the client and reaching a wide audience.
We love hearing about what a client wants to achieve for their business and then putting together a creative but relevant strategy.
